A little knowledge
changes the brief.

Before choosing a colour or a price per square foot, learn what makes a resin floor suitable for the space.

01 / THE SUBSTRATE

What is under the finish?

The slab’s condition is part of the floor system. Moisture, previous coatings, oil contamination, cracks and joints can change the preparation or rule out an option. Ask how these will be assessed before deciding on a finish.

02 / METALLIC FLOORING

What will the final pattern look like?

Metallic pigment creates movement during application. A sample can guide colour and sheen, but cannot promise an identical swirl across a full room. Ask to see real installed floors and discuss daylight, texture and care.

03 / INDUSTRIAL SYSTEMS

Is epoxy always the answer?

No. Dry traffic zones may suit epoxy, while wet cleaning, temperature changes or chemicals may point to another system. The exact product and build-up determine performance; a generic label does not.

04 / THE QUOTE

What should be written down?

Surface preparation, repairs, system layers, finish, installation window, exclusions and care should be clear. Two quotes at the same rate can describe very different floors.
